The product itself is exactly what you read in the description. I am satisfied with what I received, however there is one thing about it that I don't like. On the bottom piece of the case, the feet that are supposed to attach to the computer closest to the screen have been made just so slightly off that they will not click onto you MacBook Pro. I ended up cracking one on my first attempt to get it on, but I don't think it's something Gorilla Glue won't fix. Other than that, I'm really glad that I have a decent case for my computer now!

It's like an iPhone case for your Macbook! Shipped quickly from Amazon and simply snapped right into place on my Mid-2012 15" Macbook Pro. I had just been throwing my MBP into my bag but after I left an uncapped pen in the bag and got ink all over the body (came right off), I thought a case would be in order. It adds a tiny bit of bulk to the computer, nothing noticeable to me at least. I went with the satin finish which still has the apple logo glowing in the back but is a matte finish so you won't get annoying harsh reflections. Has vents in the right places so I don't think this will cause any unnecessary heat buildup, and I can access all of the ports on the side.

I have trusted speck before and this time is no different. This case is so great. It's soft and velvety, the satin touch just seals the deal for me, but the fact that its durable and a strong plastic is why I choose speck every time. Price is a little high however I know myself and how clumsy I may be (and Don't like to admit either) so this cover comes in handy. I just feel better knowing that my MacBook, which was a great investment in the first place, is being kept from harm's way (me included).
