This case is absolutely beautiful, I love the color. But the bad thing is, it scratches easy. I've had it for about a week and it's really scratched but that's my own fault, I suppose. The hinges that make the bottom part of the case hold on break very easy. You need to be careful when you close your MacBook. Both top corners and the hinge on the left have broken so the it slips off sometimes. Considering these are mostly vanity issues, they don't affect the protection factor. I paid just about $40 for this case and that seems like too much for something that breaks so easy. You need to be delicate and gentle with this so it doesn't break. The top part of the case is just fine though, no broken or cracked hinges.Update: Two weeks later, all hinges on the bottom case have broken, it no longer stays on. I wouldn't recommend this at all.Cons:FragileScratches EasyOver pricedPros:It looks pretty.It will protect your Mac.Final verdict: I'd only recommend this to those people that are extremely(super, super) careful with their Mac(as in: it never leaves the table). For the rest of us that tend to slam it shut at times, this isn't for you.

Lovely case. Gives the illusion that your Macintosh laptop actually is blue. It does scratch a little easy which makes me a little unhappy however; it is still a great case regardless. Happy with my purchase.

I purchased this case almost a year ago, and I love it just as much now as I did when I first received it. Yes, it does get scratched, but it's protecting your MBP from getting scratched! It was easy to snap onto my MBP, and I have taken it off several times to wash/disinfect it. I couldn't decide on a color, so I just went with the clear case. It is lightweight and unobtrusive; no complaints here. I highly recommend this case.
